Dear Parents, Autumn term is flying by, and we are now preparing for the run up to Christmas! We would like to offer a very warm welcome to Oscar and Joseph who have recently joined us. We will be holding our termly parents’ evening on Thursday 7th December from 5:30-7:30pm. This is your chance to catch up with your child’s keyperson, discuss how they are doing and be involved with setting developmental targets individually tailored to your child. This week a schedule will be available for you to select a convenient time to attend – we hope to see you all then!

Dear Parents, Welcome back for the Autumn term, we hope you all had a lovely summer. We would like to offer a very warm welcome to Olivia, Matéo, Ottilie and Cody-James who have joined us this term. To start us off this term, we are exploring the theme of ‘All About Me’, which involves getting everyone settled back in and learning about what makes us all unique. We will also be talking about family and friendship, promoting positive relationships with peers and teamwork. For October we will be learning about Autumn, and looking forward to celebrating Halloween!

Welcome back for the summer term, we hope you all had a lovely Easter break. We would like to offer a very warm welcome to George who will be joining us this term.If the weather continues to improve, please could we request that all children have a named sunhat that can be kept at pre-school, and that suncream is applied before arriving at pre-school in the morning. We are happy to top-up with our own suncream after lunch for the children that stay all day, and we will be putting out a permission form for you to sign if you are happy for us to do this.

We hope you all had a lovely half-term break. Firstly, a massive thank you to everyone who has supported us with fundraising for our fabulous new garden! This was completed over the half-term week, and the children have had a great time exploring and having fun outside. We’re sure you’ll agree it has been worth the wait and will be a great asset to the pre-school.

The Sombornes Preschool, situated in the new community building next to the Village Hall, recently unveiled a brand new outdoor play area, much to the delight of the 30 children who use this important facility every week.

We would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year, and hope you all had a lovely Christmas break. Thank you to everyone who came to the Christmas Show at the end of last term, and for supporting our raffle which raised a fantastic £140 for our pre-school funds! We would like to offer a very warm welcome to Seth, Harley and Leo who have just joined us.

This term we have a 'pirates' theme running through our play and learning, as well as beginning to look towards the Christmas season. We have already started by selling our Christmas tea towels, and would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for buying these.
